I still have my D8443 that I purchased in July of 1984 – still kicking hard of all of these 25 years. I take it as my external amplifier to accompany my game console systems to friend and family’s house to really fill up the room with great sound that this unit still provides..

Does any one know how to get the line in on these to work? The radio on mine works great, but there’s no way to turn off the radio and select the RCA input.

Any thoughts would be helpful.

Have the stereo turned off, and you have to press the play+record at the same time, so you have to have a tape in there, to get the line in to work.
